Key Responsibilities:
Experience working on Splunk 5.x, 6.x,7.x on distributed and Clustered Splunk Environments on Linux, Windows operating systems and Cloud (AWS), Dynatrace, SiteScope.
Expertise in configuring and administering complete Splunk Infrastructure - Search Heads, Indexers, Heavy Forwarders, Deployment Server, Cluster Master, Deployer, License Master and Universal Forwarder on Linux and Windows operating systems.
Configure Clusters for load balancing and fail over solutions.
Hands on experience on administrative tools like Splunk Administration Console and Command line interface.
Hands on Dynatrace AppMon Implementation.
Conduct load testing using Dynatrace to simulate high traffic scenarios, identifying performance limitations and recommending scalability improvements.
Experience with AWS Services like AWS EC2, S3, IAM Cloud Trail.
Experience with Cloud Environments Azure, and GCP.
Experience configuring managing Splunk installation using Ansible.
Proficient in setup Splunk forwarder agents across various OS platforms to gather the data.
Use Splunk Enterprise Security, which helped to quickly detect and respond to internal and external attacks thus minimizing the risks.
Proficient in utilizing Dynatrace to monitor and analyze the performance of complex applications and environments.
Work on SiteScope installation, configuration including administration and customization for various monitoring purposes.
Expert in server-side monitoring and test result analysis using DynaTrace and Sitescope for application server to identify performance bottlenecks.
Work on Creating correlation rules in Enterprise Security (Azure Sentinel, Splunk ES).
Integrated Splunk with third-party Security tools. Tuned incidents in ES.
Experience with Splunk Searching and Reporting modules, Knowledge Objects, Add-On's, Dashboards, Clustering and Forwarder Management, deployment model.
Install and configure Splunk DB Connect in Single and distributed server environments.
This is a hybrid role and requires being onsite with the client in Dallas, TX 3 days per week.
